3's Broadband Zones are available in most parts of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and the Gold Coast. Outside of 3's Broadband Zones, 3 has introduced 3G Roaming Zones, so customers with a capable device can now access 3G services in areas covering 96% of the Australian population.
Since 2003, 3 has been part of the global telecommunication operations of Hutchison Whampoa Limited (HWL) - one of Australia's biggest foreign investors, and an employer of over 220,000 people in 54 countries.
