At HTAL, we are committed to conducting our business with the highest standards of business ethics and adhering to our legal and regulatory obligations. We regard compliance with these obligations to be the corner stone of our corporate relations with our customers, employees, shareholders and other business stakeholders. To this end, HTAL’s Board of Directors has put in place formal guidelines representing the Board’s policy on best practice corporate governance. These guidelines outline the composition and responsibilities of the Board and Board committees, and the Company’s policies relating to continuous disclosure, shareholder communications, share dealing policy and corporate code of conduct. The guidelines are reviewed by the Board regularly and amended as required.

Shareholders’ right to make an election

Recent legislative changes to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) effective 1 April 2022 mean there are new options available to you as a shareholder as to how you elect to receive your communications.

Hutchison Telecommunications (Australia) Limited (HTAL or the Company) will no longer send the notice of meeting or meeting related documents (other than a letter of access, as discussed below) to shareholders in paper copy unless you have made (or make) an election with the Company’s Share Registry, Link Market Services Limited (Share Registry), to receive documents from the Company in paper copy.

Shareholders who have provided an email address to the Share Registry will receive an email with the meeting details. Shareholders who have not provided an email address and not elected to receive a paper copy of the notice of meeting will receive a paper copy of a letter of access which sets out details to view and/or download the meeting documents.

We encourage shareholders to provide your email address so that we can communicate with you electronically when shareholder notices become available online, for items such as meeting documents, payment statements and annual reports. You can make a standing election or an ad hoc request to receive, or not to receive, some or all of your shareholder communications in paper or electronic form.

To review or update your current communications preference, you may simply log on to the Share Registry’s website at https://investorcentre.linkgroup.com and select the “Communications” tab. You will need your portfolio login details or your Securityholder Reference Number (SRN) or Holder Identification Number (HIN).

If you require an additional copy of any communication, need further information about the options available to you or have questions about your holding, please contact the Share Registry on +61 1800 629 116 or via email at registrars@linkmarketservices.com.au or by mail at:
